Vehicle Description A beautiful antique Jeep Willy from 1948.
A fantastic piece of history in relatively good condition, which can run perfectly with a minimum of love & care.
Since the 1980's, this car has been in possession of my late dad.
He carefully maintained it himself, sometimes with the help of a local garage in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.
My dad participated in many Eureka Springs Antique auto shows, and the car always proved to be very popular with the people.
I remember everyone stopping him to ask about the car and many even wanted to buy it from him on the spot.
My dad got the car from a close friend of his, who was an army police officer.
We have a picture of when he got the car; however, this is the only history we have left.
After my dad passed, my mom relocated.
The repair bills and any other history of the car were destroyed during the move.
The car holds an antique license plate.
It has not been driven since 2011 and has always been standing in a closed garage.
Two years ago, some mechanic passed by and took out the starter (still available with the car, but unmounted) for reasons we don't know.
The left front tire is punctured because someone else inflated it too much.
There is an emergency tyre available.
You will find many photos of the car, including detailed shots of multiple angles of the engine compartment, the suspension (front and rear), the drive train, and the interior.
If you want to inspect, we can make an appointment for viewing during most days and times, as we're pretty flexible.
The car needs to be picked up with a trailer.
We only want to sell this car to a passionate car enthusiast who will treat this car with kindness and care in respect of my late father.
