Cargill Meat Solutions is seeking aFood Safety, Quality and Regulatory Pre Operations Technicianin ourSpringdale, AR Complex. The successful candidate will work in the production area of the plant, performing tasks to insure products produced meet established food safety and quality parameters.
Principal Accountabilities
70% - Perform visual Pre Operational Inspection as required by the SSOP Program
10% - Assisting in Pre Operational Plating and Data Entry
10% - Transport of Samples collected by the FSQR deparment to Third Party Laboratories
10% - Other various duties within the FSQR department aiding in FSIS compliance
Qualifications:
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
2 years previous food or meat processing, Quality Assurance position or equivalent.
Good written and verbal communication skills / fluent reading and writing skills in English
Basic math skills
Basic computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, or Outlook
Preferred:
Bachelors Degree in Poultry Science, Food Science or related area
Experience in Food Safety Management Systems
Laboratory or Asceptic Technique experience
