Summary:
This positions is responsible for supporting Marketing Managers and Senior Marketing Managers in achieving brand and product strategies for specific product categories by working collaboratively with the Business Units, Sales, Insights and Innovation agencies, and other internal departments. This position will analyze industry trends, market conditions, competitive information, and consumer and shopper insights to provide recommendations on positioning, product, spending, placement, etc. on specific product categories. This position will work with Marketing Managers and Senior Marketing Managers to develop and execute the fully integrated marketing plan for specific product categories to include: product, advertising, consumer promotions, and customer marketing. Other responsibilities include working with promotional agencies in the development and execution of consumer promotions and the creation of quarterly tracking reports on marketing activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Business/marketing background, 4 year degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience; M.B.A. desirable.
Experience: 1
year of experience.
Computer Skills: Must be computer literate, especially in Microsoft Office suite.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Special Skills: Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and strong analytical skills.
Supervisory: This position is responsible for providing functional supervision for other members of the work unit.
Travel: 1-4 trips a year.
