Summary: This position is responsible for leading a team in the completion of projects and or support activities. This role will plan, coordinate, direct, and design project related team activities and/or provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities of an IS group.
This person is the IS contact for the functional managers of the areas he/she supports. In addition, the position interfaces directly with decision makers in the business to identify, recommend, develop, plan, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions in their respective areas of responsibility.
Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to the following: Manage cross functional projectsand teams; Responsible for personnel administration of team members assigned to their functional area, i.e. administering or having significant input into Teams reviews; Manage indirect resources assigned to project tasks including consulting resources; Serve as a central point of contact for the functional managers involved in related business processes; Work with end users and business unit managers to support applications and/or projects; Lead the planning, design, development, and deployment of mission-critical information and software systems; Responsible for the completion of documentation as directed by the Tyson System Development Lifecycle; Provide management with accurate and timely project/team status reports; Manage projects/team quality, timelines, scope, resources, and budgets; Manage internal customer relations and expectations; Lead team in conducting feasibility studies to help support buy verses build decisions; Responsible fordesigning and/or providing input into the training plans for team members.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other technical area. Equivalent work experience may be acceptable.
Experience: 7
years of experience in Information Systems or related area with proven leadership and project management experience
Role Specific Skills: Experience with large or multiple projects and/or team management; Experience providing constructive feedback to other team members; Extensive understanding of business process design and experience with a System Development Lifecycle Methodology; Experience designing or implementing complex solutions; Experience communicating technical solutions to the business; Experience analyzing and interpreting information systems proposals, and evaluating and developing alternative implementation plans; Experience working productively on a cross functional team; Extensive knowledge of relevant multi-user computer systems, applications, and/or equipment Knowledge of current technology developments and trends; Extensive problem solving skills Must have strong knowledge of project planning tools and concepts; mustbe able to work with a matrix organizational structure to accomplish stated goals; Experience leading cross functional business meetings; Strong customer facing and communication skills as well as organizational and planning skills; and must have strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Travel: Some travel may be required. Amount of travel will be determined by individual project requirements

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
