Must be an independent worker.
Tasks will include payroll, billing, financial, collections, state licensing filings and project report generation to ensure projects are on schedule and budget.
in You will be handling incoming phone calls and other communications, greeting clients and visitors, as well as managing files, updating paperwork and other documents, and performing other general office duties and errands.
You will also be responsible for both accounts payable and receivable along with all payroll and bank account management and reconciliation tasks.
To do well in this role you should have previous experience doing basic Accounting and have used QuickBooks.
Additionally, you will need to use our business management software CORE.
Your will help the creating marketing materials such as statement of qualifications, case studies and other relevant documents.
You will be running email and other marketing campaigns.
You will help the owner form a foundation to grow the business.
In order for you to be selected as a candidate, you will need the ability to write clearly and be proficient with word processing and spreadsheet applications.
A pleasing personality with strong communication skills is also highly valued.
Must have good attendance.
Office
Responsibilities:
Handling incoming calls and other communications.
Managing filing system.
Recording information as needed.
Greeting clients and visitors as needed.
Updating paperwork, maintaining documents and word processing Maintaining corporate and individual professional licenses.
Helping organize and maintain office common areas.
Performing general office clerk duties and errands.
Organizing travel by booking accommodations and reservations needs as required.
Coordinating events as necessary.
Maintaining supply inventory.
Maintaining office equipment as needed.
Aiding with client reception as needed.
Creating, maintaining, and entering information into databases.
Accounting
Responsibilities:
Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts at the end of each month.
Monitor financial transactions and reports.
Process accounts receivable and payable.
Process checks.
Understand ledgers.
Work with an CPA on quarterly basis.
Handle payroll using payroll service.
Marketing Responsibilities Assist project managers and company management with preparing, formatting and editing marketing materials such as statement of qualifications, project profiles, and presentations.
Maintaining a marketing database.
Maintain Email Marketing program Understanding company product and brand.
Organizing market research.
Analyzing questionnaires and other forms of feedback.
Updating social media accounts and blog Job Requirements business degree is required (BS min) At least two years accounting experience, preferably within a professional services environment Warm personality with strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work well under limited supervision.
Great communication skills.
Have a valid driver license.
Competency in Microsoft type applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Good organization skills.
Regular attendance.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
