Supervises and plans work of assigned staff Consults and coordinates with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate client care plans Maintains accurate, detailed reports and client records Modifies client treatment plans as indicated by clients' responses and conditions Monitors all aspects of client care, including diet and physical activity Monitors, records and reports symptoms and changes in clients' conditions Observes nurses and visits clients to ensure that proper nursing care is provided We prefer that our nurses have the following:
Long Term Care Experience Must Have a LPN License - RN is preferred Working Knowledge in a supervisor capacity; in any career Strong Leadership Abilities in long term care or like environment Purpose of Your Job Position:
The primary purpose of your job position is to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during your scheduled shifts.
Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Services, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
