Position SummaryThe primary function of this role is to support in the financing and acquisition of residential properties.
The candidate will play a key role in researching, analyzing, and distributing real estate related business information.
The company's goal is to aggressively grow our presence as a leading regional homebuilder with a focus on providing affordable housing to first-time home buyers.
This position will play a crucial role in financing and evaluating these assets.
Duties & Responsibilities Work closely with Finance, Land Development and Operations teams in preparation of Land Acquisition Reports in order to document and communicate critical deal points and business plan assumptions for new communities Financial modeling and proforma investment analysis related to optimizing financing and purchase decisions Projection of loan facility balances (for example, warehouse and permanent debt) to ensure that additional financing needs are evaluated and planned accordingly Maintain lender dashboard for portfolio of single-family rental houses Prepare project information packages to support underwriting and appraisals of land and lot acquisitions Maintain internal database of appraised values and market data Perform research on macroeconomic factors, key housing industry trends for markets of interest, and homebuilder industry and competitor metrics Some travel may be required Other duties as required BS/BA in Business, Finance, Banking, Real Estate, or related degree program 1 year or more of experience in areas of real estate, banking, investments, financial analysis, research, or accounting Strong analytical skills and computer literacy, including word-processing, spreadsheet preparation and analysis, project scheduling and data management software Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task Ability to work independently and as a team member; independent thinker, with a high level of initiative and willingness to learn, adapt and grow Flexible with positive attitude and strong work ethic; able to complete projects within fast-paced, team-oriented, entrepreneurial environment Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Strong people skills as this position will interact with Finance and Accounting, Land Development, and Homebuilder Operations areas Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications3 or more years of experience in areas of banking, investments, financial analysis, research, or accounting, preferably in the real estate industryPhysical Demands Lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently and frequently moving small objects Frequently sitting for long periods of time Walking or standing occasionally Must have manual use of hands and vision to use computer constantly PI226715578 Recommended Skills Accounting Analytical Banking Services Communication Computer Literacy Coordinating Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
