Summary:
Perform tasks involving physical labor at demolition sites.
ay operate hand tools and poser tools.
Training will be provided.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
May clean and prepare sites for demolition.
Tearing down walls, removing flooring, and roofing materials.
Clean up rubble and debris using wheelbarrows, brooms, shovels All other tasks will be assigned as needed.
Physical Demands:
Ability to continuously sit, stand or walk.
Ability to bend, stoop, climb stairs, and lift frequently.
Ability to work in either hot or cold weather.
Possible rain at some times May lift and carry heavy objects weighing from 5-50lbs frequently.
Sometimes may have to lift up to 75lbs.
Some jobs expose workers to harmful materials or chemicals, fumes, odors, loud noise or dangerous machinery.
To avoid injury, workers in these jobs will wear safety clothing such as gloves, hard hats, safety glasses, protective chemical suits, and devices to protect respiratory system and hearing.
While working in construction, laborers must be especially alert to safely follow procedures and must deal with variety of hazards.
Work Environment Outdoors:
Hot, Cold, Rain or shine Must be able to work Monday thru Friday 530am to 430pm and some Saturdays.
