Summary:
This position is responsible for providing facility program guidance for OSHA Process Safety Management PSM EPA Risk Management Program RMP Department of Homeland Security Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standard CFATS . This includes but not limited to Compliance Mechanical Integrity Audits Process Hazard Analysis PHA and PHA revalidations Project PHAs Incident Investigations Standard Operating Procedure review assistance Pre-startup Safety Reviews Management of Change MOC reviews and support during government inspections. Other responsibilities include biannual enterprise-wide PSM RMP training ammonia use tracking interface with regulatory agencies and legal counsel on EPA OSHA and DHS matters participation in development maintaining of companywide PSM Engineering and regulatory standards specifications; plant operations and program administration counseling with plant complex and division management. REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
B.S. B.A. in technical field or equivalent technical experience; ammonia refrigeration fundamentals ; PSM RMP regulations
Experience:
6 plus years applicable experience with PSM RMP ; a minimum of 2 years experience in the food industry. Computer Skills:
Knowledge and use of computer programs spreadsheet database and scheduling programs. Microsoft exposure preferred. Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Willing to make presentations and teach PSM RMP classes. Special Skills:
Must be capable of working on multi-faceted projects of any magnitude while requiring limited supervision; demonstrated repeated ability to complete complex projects on time and on budget; good knowledge of a variety of PSM RMP concepts. Travel:
12 plus trips or more per year
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Program ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
