Summary:
The purpose of this position is to provide direction and effective engagement to Plant Maintenance and Operations Managers while providing technical guidance to maintain optimal performance and continuous improvement efforts. Responsibilities include:
The responsibility to facilitate the sequence of events for scheduling larger capital projects relating to maintenance operations. Manage OEM equipment PMs task lists manuals and spare part requirements while working in coordination with Design Project Managers and other SME s to ensure life cycle asset management on new capital equipment acquisitions. Maintain Tyson Foods labor standards and performance reporting systems; analyze systems and performance and develop effective controls; interface and work with other managers departments and engineers on implementing process improvement and innovation; other tasks as deemed appropriate. The Senior Manager Engineer will conduct numerous regional training events as well as travel to plant locations to provide leadership communication and process training. Responsible for the reliability process knowledge library document controls and other internal and external website content related to developing and sharing best practice maintenance policy and procedures. Working with reliability engineering in the tactical and strategic activities of implementing strategies to improve the reliability of components equipment and processes. A background in industrial refrigeration harvest process digitalization rendering and other related fields will be utilized to engage plants in the maintenance reliability process. REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering or other technical degree combined with applicable industry experience.
Experience:
8 plus years applicable Industrial Engineering experience with a minimum of 3 years experience in the rendering industry. Previous experience as a leader or contributor to a business unit preferred. Computer Skills:
Standard computer skills; knowledge and use of computer programs spreadsheet database and scheduling programs required. Communication Skills:
Excellent communication skills required. Special Skills:
Possess a good working knowledge of food manufacturing/rendering operations systems and process controls and continuous improvement; capable of supervising a team of maintenance coordinators on multi-faceted projects of any magnitude; demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and process control and optimization systems; proven ability to analyze processes and recommend quality and effective corrective actions for optimal performance. This position requires a detailed knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems CMMS specifically SAP-PM Megamation and MP2. Training and presentation skills are required. Supervisory:

50%.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Engineering Management, Industrial EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
