We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will assist in managing our company's financial transactions, from accounts payable and receivable to reconciling bank statements and preparing financial reports.
Duties:
- Perform basic accounting tasks such as data entry, processing, and recording transactions - Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports - Reconcile bank statements and general ledgers - Support Controller with budgeting activities - Utilize accounting software for financial data entry - Assist with clerical tasks related to the accounting department Requirements:
- One to two years of proven work experience as an Accounting Assistant or in a similar role - Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and general ledger reconciliation - Familiarity with accounting software - Understanding of budgeting principles and procedures - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry - Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in accounting processes and contribute to the financial success of our organization.
