Performs routine and specialized moderate and high complexity laboratory tests on all types of blood and body fluid specimens under minimal supervision. Insures accurate and reliable test results by adhering to a strict quality control program. Performs instrument function checks and preventative maintenance procedures according to department''s policies and procedures. Maintains records and statistical data according to regulative requirements. Teaches new employees and students laboratory policies and procedures. Collects chain of custody urine drug screens as required. Assists as needed in all laboratory areas as required to maintain appropriate patient care.
Education:
Bachelor''s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution; or passing score on the Clinical Laboratory Technology Proficiency examination approved by HHS (HEW); or earned a high school diploma or equivalent and have documentation of appropriate training.
Experience:
Preferred: One year acute care experience
Licenses/Certificates:
MT/MLS (ASCP), MT (AMT), CLS (NCA), HEW or equivalent certification

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
