Responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the registration department. Acts as a liaison with the eligibility service. Responsible for management of patient accounts at point of service. Responsible for quality of admission information and point of service collections. Provides informational support and evaluation of regulations, procedures or practices of the registration representative. Coordinates department quality assurance program. Manages employee work schedules. Represents the facility as the focal point for all initial communications.

Qualifications
Education:
B.S. degree with a major in accounting, finance, business administration or hospital administration
Experience:
Two years supervisory experience in the registration department of a hospital facility
Preferred: Two years management experience of a registration department in a hospital facility
